Hulu Expands Mormon Wives Franchise to Orange County

A throuple is set to take center stage as Hulu prepares to launch the West Coast iteration of its reality hit, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Moving from Utah to Orange County, the new series promises a shift in cultural dynamics while maintaining the high-stakes drama of the original production.

The upcoming season, scheduled for release on November 12, 2026, features a fresh ensemble including Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Ashleigh Pease, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Jordan McClanahan, Madison Bontempo, and McCall DaPron. Original cast member Jen Affleck joins the group, serving as the central link between the flagship series and this new venture. Much of the early attention surrounds Ovard, who has publicly detailed her polyamorous relationship with partners Briana and Billy Davis.

Producer Jeff Jenkins views the relocation to Southern California as a strategic pivot from the intense, specific culture of Utah. He describes the Orange County LDS community as more relaxed and forgiving, providing a distinct atmosphere for the franchise. Jenkins has already hinted at further expansion, suggesting the network is considering at least three additional iterations of the series to explore different regional pockets of the faith across the country.
