AliExpress and YouTube Expand Affiliate Partnership to New Markets

AliExpress is scaling its collaborative footprint with YouTube, extending an affiliate program that allows content creators to monetize product recommendations. Following a pilot in South Korea, the platform is rolling out the integration to four major markets: the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

The partnership enables creators to select items directly from the AliExpress catalog within YouTube Studio and embed them into long-form videos, Shorts, and livestreams. This integration provides a streamlined pathway for viewers to purchase goods ranging from consumer electronics to lifestyle items. A core component of the expansion is the Brand+ initiative, which highlights a specific collection of international and local products.

Eric Zhang, Vice President of AliExpress, noted that the initiative aims to bridge the gap between content discovery and retail transactions. By simplifying how merchants connect with creators at scale, the company intends to facilitate a more direct transition for consumers from watching an influencer’s review to finalizing a purchase. The rollout will continue in phases, aligning with YouTube’s ongoing expansion of its Shopping Affiliate Programme into additional global territories.
