The upcoming flagship will join Miniso’s international portfolio, which already boasts prominent locations in New York’s Times Square and Paris’s Champs-Élysées. The transition follows HMV’s recent announcement that it will vacate the premises in March 2027, ending a three-year stint at the site that it originally occupied as far back as 1921.
Sam Foyle, co-head of global retail at Savills, noted that the site remains a highly sought-after destination, particularly as pedestrianization efforts continue to drive momentum for the area. For Miniso, the site represents a long-term commitment to the UK market and an opportunity to deepen its connection with local consumers through a specialized, experience-led retail environment.
