In his new role, Schmidt will oversee the development of Veloq's partner ecosystem. The company currently powers the €1.7 billion operations of Rohlik Group, managing 12 fulfillment centers and 14 AutoStore grids. Schmidt is tasked with scaling this technology for a broader range of operators in Europe and North America by cultivating relationships with systems integrators, consultancies, and warehouse management system providers.
Schmidt brings nearly a decade of experience in supply chain software to the role. Prior to his work at Infios, formerly known as Körber Supply Chain Software, he managed the regional launch of Tier-1 warehouse management systems. Veloq officials noted that his background in both direct sales and channel management will be instrumental as the platform seeks to integrate its technology into diverse warehouse environments.
