Lively and Reynolds Reportedly Irked by Baldoni’s Disney Network Appearance

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are allegedly bristling at Disney following Justin Baldoni’s recent appearance on the ABC series Dancing With the Stars. According to entertainment journalist Rob Shuter, the couple views the network’s decision to host Baldoni—a figure central to their high-profile legal dispute—as a personal betrayal and a lapse in corporate loyalty.

While Reynolds’ association with the Disney-owned Marvel franchise has generated significant box-office revenue, industry insiders suggest the couple expects their professional ties to dictate social boundaries in Hollywood. The appearance, however, appears to have been a private matter: Baldoni attended the taping as a guest of his longtime friend and show co-host, Julianne Hough, rather than through a formal network invitation. Neither Disney nor the couple has issued public confirmation of the alleged friction, and the network has signaled no intent to take sides in the ongoing aftermath of their 2026 settlement.
