Cecilia Dong Joins SightMD New York to Expand Flushing Eye Care

Dr. Dong’s arrival marks a strategic addition for the healthcare provider, which maintains 38 locations across the state. Her clinical focus covers the spectrum of eye health, ranging from comprehensive exams to the management of complex cataract and glaucoma conditions. Brad Kligman, Chief Medical Officer of Sight Growth Partners, noted that her appointment strengthens the network's capacity to deliver high-quality ophthalmic services within the local community.

Her medical background includes a residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and a fellowship at Acuity Eye Group in California. Dr. Dong holds a degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and was the first recipient of the Research to Prevent Blindness Medical Student Fellowship at the institution. Beyond her clinical work, she maintains an active research profile, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented findings at international ophthalmology forums. Appointments for her new practice in Flushing are currently open to the public.
