Caterpillar Extends Dividend Streak to 33 Years

Caterpillar Inc. will continue its long-standing capital return policy, with the board of directors declaring a quarterly dividend of $1.63 per share. Payable on November 19 to shareholders of record as of October 19, the move reinforces the heavy equipment manufacturer's status as a consistent performer within the S&P 500.

The company has maintained a cash dividend every year since its formation, with quarterly payments dating back to 1933. By upholding this payout, the Irving-based firm marks 33 consecutive years of increasing its annual dividend, securing its position within the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index.

Caterpillar remains a dominant force in global infrastructure, reporting $67.6 billion in sales and revenues for 2025. Its operations span construction, mining equipment, and advanced power systems, supported by an extensive independent dealer network and internal financing services.
