The 40-year-old performer will join the panel on Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16, sitting alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Her appearance is part of a broader anniversary effort that has seen former co-hosts like Star Jones and Sherri Shepherd return to the studio throughout the fall.
Beyond the broadcast, Raven-Symoné and her wife, Miranda Maday, are scheduled to appear on the show’s companion podcast, Behind the Table. This return follows a candid admission the actress made earlier this month on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show, where she reflected on the high-pressure nature of live television. She noted that she initially approached the program like a casual neighborhood conversation, only to realize the scrutiny and potential for out-of-context clips required a much more guarded approach.
Despite admitting that returning to the set triggers a sense of nervousness, she remains a frequent visitor to the production. The timing of her return coincides with the temporary absence of Joy Behar, who is currently recovering from a shoulder injury. Behar, who missed her 84th birthday taping due to the recovery, expects to rejoin the panel next week.
