Central to his claims is documentation from a hospital visit where he alleges he was restrained by his mother. Gosselin asserts that he provided detailed accounts of abuse to agency representatives at the time, despite fearing retaliation if he were not immediately removed from the home. He spent 22 months in a psychiatric facility starting in 2016, a period he attributes to his mother’s claims of behavioral issues. While he previously expressed a desire to reconcile, he now maintains that his primary focus is seeking justice for children in similar positions.
