The partnership integrates Hiossen’s implant systems and its Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center (AIC) with the proprietary guided workflows developed by GuidedSMILE. This initiative provides dentists with a comprehensive ecosystem, ranging from initial surgical planning and bone reduction to the final restorative phase. By leveraging Hiossen’s existing infrastructure for hands-on training and live surgery, the companies seek to lower the barrier for clinicians looking to adopt predictable, guided full-arch treatment protocols in their everyday practice.
GuidedSMILE, based in Independence, Ohio, brings significant scale to the venture, having supported over 50,000 full-arch procedures through its portfolio of seven patented guide innovations. Alan Banks, President of GuidedSMILE, noted that the synergy addresses the inherent fragmentation in full-arch dentistry by providing doctors with a structured, supported path to execution. Hiossen, the U.S. subsidiary of Osstem Implant, will utilize its Pennsylvania-based manufacturing and educational reach to distribute these solutions across the North American market, ensuring that practitioners receive the technical and clinical support necessary for complex cases.
