The 37-year-old actor detailed the encounter on Instagram, sharing footage of himself with blood running down his face shortly after the attack on Santa Monica Boulevard. According to law enforcement, one suspect pressed a handgun against the actor’s face while the second brandished a knife to demand his personal items. After the struggle, the suspects escaped in a vehicle.
Allen confirmed he sought medical treatment for a head laceration and a concussion. While he expressed frustration regarding local public safety, he specifically questioned the efficacy of the city’s surveillance infrastructure. He called on authorities to utilize the area’s network of Flock cameras—a key component of the 'Safer WeHo' program—to identify the individuals responsible. As of Friday, no arrests had been made in connection with the robbery.
