The Audio Accessibility Toolkit enables direct integration between the Series 5 hardware and telecoil-enabled hearing devices without requiring external hardware installation. The system includes specialized ear cushions designed to funnel audio directly into hearing aids, alongside a Bluetooth-enabled handset that provides flexible communication options including loudspeaker and push-to-talk modes. These features are intended to assist employees with hearing impairments in processing speech amidst the chaotic background noise typical of busy retail floors.
Beyond hearing support, the company introduced a series of modular accessories focused on physical comfort during extended shifts. These include a variety of cushions for neckbands and headsets, constructed from biocompatible, skin-friendly materials to provide pressure relief and accommodate diverse physical profiles. According to CEO Beth Worrall, the initiative is rooted in the belief that personalized, comfortable technology is the primary driver of adoption, as it ensures all staff members feel connected and capable of performing their duties effectively regardless of individual needs.
